Headed to LA for the weekend. Going to go to a Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks game tomorrow. Then just wander around the city. I love LA.

Nice, we are going to an Aviators (AAA club for the A’s) next weekend. It’s a beautiful park just down the street. I’m starting to get excited for the A’s to come even though I’m an Astros fan. Baseball is my second favorite live sporting event after hockey.

Great spot of the BGE in action & brings back fond memories of taking our kids to the Algarve many times. We stayed a little further west of Lagos - lots of great beaches. And often a chilly breeze in the evening, off the Atlantic.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever catch up with those 3 people? They seem just out of reach in each shot.

Nice that you’ve enjoyed good times there. Very picturesque. The waves were quite impressive - so much so that I didn’t let the kids get closer than the frigid waves touching the bottoms of their knees. They put on their bathing suits and got thoroughly soaked by the splashing though - True Canadians, as a Chinese friend remarked.

If you haven’t done Ronda or Setenil de las Bodegas, I recommend both (about an hour’s drive from one another). In the latter, we followed signage for public parking but got stuck on a hilly, incredibly tight one-way street restricted for use by locals only. With the locals’ cars street parked, it was so tight that we had to fold the mirrors in and even then, had what felt like not an inch to spare on either side. My wife was freaking out and other tourists watched in horror/fascination, just waiting for me to scratch the rental (which I’m relieved to say didn’t happen). Unreal.

I feel bad for Tiger. Not sure he’s the GOAT, but he’s #2 at worst. All that professional success and I don’t think the guy has any good friends, or good people around him, based on what’s happened the last several years. In my times of acting a fool I was fortunate to have a few folks around me to point that out and then not back down. I’m rooting for him and hope he finds peace.

I just said that to someone tonight. Like what the heck. Pay someone 150k per year and they are a trusted driver and you stay out of the news.
