Heading there next week, visiting wine shops. In Houston tonight for the Rodeo.
All of you local Egger’s, please chime in on cool places things to do in the processing of this visit.
Also, my memory is a bit poor these days, but I thought there is an Egger that has places to stay while visiting?
Let me know and let me know how y’all are doing. Touching base is something I have failed miserably, hoping to rectify as I move forward.
Thank you. Hoping all is well.

The Museum of the Pacific War is cool, if you’re into that sort of thing. There are a ton of German bakeries in the area. A morning kolache always hits the spot.Las Vegas, NV

Thank you. I did go to the Nimitz museum and found it very interesting, and certainly a must see for all that do make the trip. I will likely go again.
Kolache always do hit the spot, I agree. I have a polish kitchen about a block from where I live, which has just opened, and they specialize in these morsels of food divinity. There will be no reason not to indulge when visiting the area.Certainly appreciate the information."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Paging @The Cen-Tex Smoker as he, actually his better half, operate quite a small and very nice place on the ranch.
I will separately text him. And plus one on the Museum of the Pacific War.
Eaker's BBQ in Fredericksburg has great brisket so there's that as well.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Thanks for the heads up Frank.
Ron- if you need any pointers on where to go, we know most of the wineries. As Frank mentioned, we have 6 Airbnbs on our ranch just 10 minutes south of Main Street and 3 minutes from the nearest winery (they are almost all within 15-30 minutes from the ranch). There are plenty of cool spots in town as well if you are looking for something walkable to dinner etc. just let me know and I’ll help you figure out your scene here in The Burg.I’ll pm you my cell in case you don’t have it anymore.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX
