BTW-the F1 audience in the US will take noticeable hit given the 5 year contract duration with AppleTV.

Thought it was interesting how DTS is streaming on both Apple TV and Netflix right now.

I need to start watching it, before I’ve forgotten everything from last year’s races.

Well F me as I just loaded up Netflix for the express purpose of watching the latest DTS after subscribing to AppleTV+ yesterday for this race season.  At least I will kill Netflix after I get thru the obligatory one month plan.

Out of the loop here; "DTS" is what....?

DTS -Drive To Survive-a Netflix series that is now in season eight.  It is a docu-series about the prior season's F1 race campaign.  Well packaged and weaves several plot lines throughout the season.  Widely associated with the dramatic increase in F1 interest in the US after its initial runs.

Agree it doesn’t look good. If every race is a processional follow the leader with no racing and fun spoiled by battery issues I’m out.

Bring back v10 with sustainable fuel if we need to keep the environmental lobbyists happy but this direction seems loaded with potential problems

hopefully I’m wrong. We’ll find out Saturday night

Success with loading up Apple TV and being able to delay watch FP-1 and 2.  Hopefully there will be racing to be had.

  • I wonder how many other Mario kart ideas the fia will try to add. Sad state of affairs to be celebrating all the passing this year vs last when cars just stop on the straights and then get re passed the next straight

Well, one thing that hasn't changed is Ferrari's ability to lose a race due to the strategists.
