Ordered the new rotisserie for my XL. It will arrive right before Turkey Day.
I went straight to BGE and not my Ace buddy cause he couldn't get it by thxgiving.
First cook, Prime rib or bird?

Time. I’m buying time.
BP is 116/68 w/out meds
During marriage is was 155/100 with meds.
May be an expensive way to reduce BP, but definitely worth it!I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I would do a basic chicken to see how it cooks before dropping a prime rib on the spit.Seymour_Smoke said:Ordered the new rotisserie for my XL. It will arrive right before Turkey Day.

i hope so. its a night time thing here for me, inspector, environmental conservation, marine patrol/warden, water district authority, fire boat, guy stationed at the boat ramp, and every person docking or pumping gas at the marina across from me. people fishing will report you, lots of snitchesColbyLang said:Say it with me “weekend work”. Not in the market for this but noticed a bunch of Gozney Dome scam ads in FB Marketplace here, too good to be true. Here's an example, advertised as New but pictures show oven in use. Their MO is send me etransfer so I can mark it sold and hold for you 😂

yeah, I fell for it twice, but I'm hoping that this third time pans out. The first two said it got sold out from under me and that they can't return my money until it deposits and they promise they'll send it right back.
funny thing is both those sellers had the name "bob". quite the coincidence if you ask me.~~
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. -
I had an encounter with a scammer recently.
See the almost new Large Egg with table in the original 'bubble'? After sending a curious question to the seller I realised it was a scam. Couple of days later the seller changed the same ad to leather couches, also changed profile picture from a man to a woman. The price remained the same at $350. 😡

GrateEggspectations said:So, that order was a scam site. Their trust pilot reviews were from another site, the US office does not seem to exist, their Japan office seems to be a knife museum. Anyway my credit card is in the process of refunding my money. However, I did check Chubo Knives last night as I tend to do randomly and wouldn't you know they had about 12 different Takeda knife styles in stock! So I was frantically googling the different names so I could order knifes that would be useful to my style of cooking and got 4 on order before they sold out. I must have ordered the last ones of a few models because when I went back they were marked sold out, currently I think they have 2 or 3 different takedas left.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Nice. Hope it works out this time. I love the height of the Takedas. Great clearance for the knuckles. And like I say, super light and agile.Standing by for photos of the knives and of you putting your knife skills to good use! -

Tools. Replaced all locks in rental and rekeyed to same key. Needed tools to do since all mine were stolen. Thankfully my specialty tools (aside from all my Dewalt power tools and batteries) were not in garage.

I'm on a mini SRF bender. Small orders around once every ten days (with all their "specials") for the past month. Time to cool it til 2026.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Swmbo intercepted the Ko-sasa Gyutou at the door, I’ve been told it will be wrapped under the tree until the end of the month. The other two are in stuck in Anchorage due to a paperwork snafu.GrateEggspectations said:@alaskanassasin

I was gifted this from my Dad who is hard to shop for and thought I'd share it here. My Dad has all kinds of tools and gadgets and he thought I might need one as well. My Dad doesn't get very impressed with most things. So when this showed up on my doorstep I knew he must have been impressed. I have to admit this thing is pretty d*mn impressive! I'm not affiliated in any with the product but definitely worth taking a look at if anyone needs an idea for Christmas or a gift that someone is hard to shop for. This thing is super handy. It sure beats firing up the air compressor for some simple task. Especially when you have to drag a hose around. It's not necessarily cheap but the cost can be easily justified. I just wanted to throw it out here for a gift suggestion!
