Family asked for Indian tonight, so I made murgh makhani, palak paneer and aloo gobi from scratch. Served with basmati and naan. An early Diwali celebration of sorts.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling that well when it was time to eat, so I sat this meal out and went to lie down. Maybe I’ll enjoy some tomorrow.

Edit: The rice was basmati. I generally cook my rice in water featuring Better Than Bouillon Chicken. Highly recommend!!

    Love everything, right up my alley. Sorry to hear you're unwell to feast, if it's any consolation curried dishes taste better the day after, in general. btw, I love white broccoli 🥦  ;)

    Thanks.

    I like the white broccoli too, though it pales in comparison to white Brussels sprouts.

    You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  • Thanks for the kind comments, all. Was a 24 hour bug, so I had a plate tonight. Probably pushing it on a sensitive stomach though!

    @YukonRon
    Glad you enjoyed the BTB. I don’t know where I first picked that up, long ago, but it’s my go-to approach for rice. Love it.
