There is a commercial running right now about a guy who has someone over to his place, but she scorns him for putting the [fancy @ss] dog food in the fridge. cut to her in the hall and him apologizing to the dog.~~

First I have heard of Cosequin. I will look into that for my older German. She want's to run with the younger one, but you can tell she is a bit sore and stiff after. Thanks for the indirect tip.fishlessman said:hoosier_egger said:Went to Costco for dog food. Came back with brisket, pork belly and tequila. Lol and yes, the dog food.

years ago i used to just buy glucosamine chondroitin from the pharmacy for my old german shepard, he made 18 years old before i had to put him down from a failed bladder. was probably about 12 when i started him on it, just gave him what i was taking. takes a month or two to start working and showing improvement, for me i would take it for 8 months and stop for a couple and start it up again, seemed to work best if i stopped and started back up. for the dog i just break it up in his food once a dayfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Great supplement for the 4 legged friends and Costco is the best place to buy from that I've found.fishlessman said:poster said:

Just finished my bathroom vanity..... this was a very time consuming project because of the amount of coats it needed of stain and the recommended time between coats. Took up my garage for a week!!! But love the final prodcut.

Love the live edge! Since it will get wet, what top coat did you use over the stain?Mr1egg said:Just finished my bathroom vanity..... this was a very time consuming project because of the amount of coats it needed of stain and the recommended time between coats. Great craftsmanship right there. Impressive.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

3 weeks ago I cut the wood in 90F+ and 110% humidity when it decided to block the driveway at the mouth; so I cut it to manageable sized pieces and brought it closer to the house. It is a cool morning so now it is time to split and stack for burning the winter of 2028/29. I am on a 3 year drying cycle back here in the woods.

Way to surface @Sea2Ski. Quite a project right there.
Regarding the drying cycle, air dried wood will come into equilibrium with the surroundings in around 6-9 months or so depending on location. Here's quite a resource for wood from the Forest Products Lab: (Chapter 13 on drying)

Lol my egg table is nothing impressive just deck boards and some 4x4. I used arm r seal satin because im not too big of a fan of shiny wood. 3 coats and sanded on top and 3 coats on the bottom to keep the wood moisturized. Turns out amazing, the wood is walnut.
Thanks everyone

Did you coat your car, if so what did you use? I want to do my wife’s car next weekend, but am a little worried about leaving a high spot.hoosier_egger said:Apply a ceramic coating to the windshield

I haven’t. I’m in the same boat about doing it DIY or just pay the pros.ryantt said:

Sunday Night Quiz time! Anyone have any idea what this pan was originally made for?

My initial thought is that butter is placed at the top of the “ramp”. The heat melts it and it runs down the slope. My guess is the pan is for fish.

That was my thought at first, swirl the pan counter-clockwise and pour some of the grease out (there's even a notch in the rim) but I can't visualize how that would work very well, or any advantage over a normal pan...hoosier_egger said:Some sort of reverse grease trap? Finished splitting and stacking. Here it is pre-cleanup .
Each pile is “double deep”. So what you see is really X2.

Everything is coming together after all these years. I have wanted a nice woodshed and planted the seed with my wife about 5 years ago. Now that we have about 9 cords of wood split and stack and under crappy tarps, my wife came out today she said she does not like piles here and there under “ratty” tarps. She asked me for ideas for the shed I had in mind. He he he he….--------------------------------------------------
