Wife makes multiple pans of enchiladas at one time. Freezes in the pan overnight and then pops them out with a bendy spatula while frozen, vacuum seal that and you save a ton of space and don't tie up your pans.Battleborn said:I was off yesterday and decided to make a big a$$ pan of chicken enchiladas. I make mine more of casserole style and don’t roll individual tortillas. Well, the kids each decided that they had more important things to do so now I have a ton of left overs. Trying to decide if vac sealing them would be worth it.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -

I drink cheap beer so I can afford good bourbon.

@DoubleEgger. My Gosh Mike you talk about money!!That’s awesome John.Yeah that guy (Tommy Bagwell) is rolling in it. He’s a good guy though. Big contributor to the lake and local charities. He sold his chicken rendering business to Tyson for $800M several years ago. That money was just icing on his cake. He’s got a 55 meter yacht at the coast as well. -
I hit a couple bucket list concerts last night.
The Spin Doctor's opened the show. I'm probably the only one who has Spin Doctor's on their bucket list but they were my first CD as a kid.
I was also able to checkout Blues Traveler who I've also wanted to see for years but never took any real initiative to see them. Pretty fun being able to see them the same night as the Spin Doctors.
John Popper lead singer of Blues Traveler and Chris Barron lead singer of Spin Doctors went to high school together. They collaborated on a few songs together through the night.
A pretty fun couple concerts."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Alert: My pic sucks but I attended a soccer (too f'ing much of a challenge between the English and German spelling) international friendly here in fly over country: Aston Villa vs Eintracht Frankfort.

Ended 2-2. Sister kisser.
It was quite well played and very entertaining.
First time a full up international match here. Regrettably the international beers (especially German) did not come along.
There's always next year. Perhaps Crystal Palace and @CPFC1905 will make the trip.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Shaking my head.
This afternoon I had to stop at the local gas station for a couple things, and the bill came to $10.71. I gave her a ten, a dollar, and a penny.
She slowly placed the money into the register, and then stared at the display, a long time; I try to be patient with these kids.
Somewhere, in the distance, a dog barked.
Finally, she gave me my change. A five, two ones, two quarters and two dimes... wtff. I said, "No, I gave you a ten, and... " And she said, "Oh, wait, let me..." Her supervisor came over, she called up the Calculator on her iPhone, and she started plugging away. I told her she only owed me $0.30, which I finally got.
She apologized, and I stifled my urge to yell "Make America Great Again!" Got home, and threw up in my mouth a little bit."Hallelujah, Noel, be it Heaven or Hell,
The Christmas we get, we deserve"

We have several international club matches in town that I could work and watch for free. I, however, refrain from those matches. The Mexican fans have a propensity to be pretty rowdy.lousubcap said:Alert: My pic sucks but I attended a soccer (too f'ing much of a challenge between the English and German spelling) international friendly here in fly over country: Aston Villa vs Eintracht Frankfort.

Define rowdy? Boisterous bunch of lads enjoying the moment or chemical powered men old enough to know better?Battleborn said:

I took my research group (all graduate students in engineering and math) out to lunch at the local gourmet pizza place. We asked the waiter how many pies we should order.
Waiter: Well our pizza is very thin crust, each pizza has six slices on it. Most people eat four slices.
Me: OK, so there's nine of us, and nine times four divided by six is six.
Waiter: Nine times four divided by six is... six? I don't think that's how math works!
Students: < bust out laughing >
To this day, I'm quite sure the waiter believed the students were laughing at me."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

If he could do math he wouldn’t be a waiter.

Given that this is third grade math, I’m not sure that necessarily follows. Plenty of waiters walking around who locked up once they got to long division.Gulfcoastguy said:If he could do math he wouldn’t be a waiter.

I'm living the @BeanHead choice minus the drugs. Although I did have several dry months solely based on life-style. And would do it again except for the aging out deal. That deal will eventually get us all.

I chargrilled a few snapper throats.

You know that I had to sneak a few oysters and some soft shell crabs on while the grill was hot.

What is fish and oysters without a good steak?

Kinda watching the first episode of Worst Cooks in America. A little confusing since one of the Chef/coaches Ann Burrel died weeks ago. It will probably be the last episode that I watch, nobody could actually be a cook that bad and dangerous. I keep expecting them to break out Cowboy Lump.
