His photo will always win.  You are raising them right-no fear of vegetables.  Early introduction reaps dividends down-stream.

That is a great looking meal!  Was it served in a bowl or a plate? Is that the serving platter?  Trying to wrap my head around the size of that and if you borrowed that Gold plated thing from RRP....

Haha that’s a large serving bowl we use.  It holds about four servings of fried rice.

Thanks man.  It worked.  The hot sausage adds just the right amount of heat.

I love fried rice because it’s a “kitchen sink” dish.  You can pretty much throw in whatever is in your freezer and fridge and it’ll turn out.  All you need is the rice to start.

No, this was baked in an electric oven. I've done bread in the Egg before with best results using my Lodge. It's more difficult to control temperature and get an even cook.
It's also something I do on week days on  a tight schedule: dough in the morning before work and cook in the evening right before going to bed. It makes for a great breakfast

Nice! A smear of soft cheese and a glass of wine and it’s a lazy weekend meal.

I would crush those pizzas!  Well played to get the Boss Lady to crank those out.

@GrateEggspectations Don't be so humble, they look mighty fine, I'd inhale a few slices.
I'd tell you what I don't like though, that pizza cutter looks dangerous, if her hand slips it could be devastating. I prefer scissors or rocking cutter.

@Canugghead - no doubt she has read all the legal disclaimers and is fully aware of the challenges presented by the cutting tool.  Relative youth ( B)) is a wonderful thing.  Wish I could experience it once again!  =) However, the sand in the hour glass of life continues its time based, gravity fed downward run and I'm good with that.

I'll second this.  My last two years of undergrad college, my roommate and I pretty much lived on 12-packs of Old Milwaukee ($2.99) and $0.49 frozen Totino's pizzas.  We had an incredibly cheep "Ecko" pizza cutter of that style (don't know if Ecko is even around anymore) and while slicing up supper the rivet acting as the pivot sheared off, and the blade sliced thru the web of skin between my thumb and index finger, on my dominant hand.  It wasn't too deep, but should've been stitched and I couldn't afford it.  Took over a semester to finally heal.

I use a Zyliss cutter now, or a chef's knife if it's a small pie:

🤣 one of my godmothers is a wood turner. She made me a pizza cutter that I would take into battle if/when zombies arrive. Sorry I don’t have a banana for size reference, but as our “president” would say… my hands are not small…

@botch sorry to make you relive the nightmare. I bought a Microplane pizza wheel on impulse, it's similar to the Zyliss, still prefer the rocking cutter for safety and efficiency.
