Our hosts have provided this forum service to us, for free, for a long time (I've been here since 2011) and it is still against the rules to post political stuff, but they've fudged for us by allowing such discussions (which I think are increasingly important), but in the Off-Topic area. I really appreciate that.
So why are these posts here in the Main Forum? That's just asking for a clampdown vis-a-vis the rules, or some expulsions, or even the whole forum being disconnected. Please stop it; the cooking, recipe, and lifestyle (and humor!) in this forum, plus meaningful political discussions in a separate subforum, are extremely valuable to me and I'd hate to lose all that.
