I am sure that is amazing, but if you have not though about it, a conical burr grinder for all things whole spices and a faction of the cost, use mine all the time , About $90.00

I do love this idea. Especially for the bulk stuff. We’ll be upgrading our coffee grinder eventually and will repurpose the old burr grinder for this very thing..

Side question for other owners of the grinder:

Have you worn out or lost the o-ring that secures the small base to the grinder? If so have you managed to find a replacement?

I don’t own one, but a video I just watched appears to suggest that an extra o-ring or two are included.

That's pretty sweet, but pricey. We went with a pair of these from SLT in black and white:

https://www.surlatable.com/product/sur-la-table-ratchet-mills/3822517

They work great for SWMBO's hands as she has some neuro issues affecting fine motor skills (twisting a traditional mill is a no go for her). Back and forth once is usually sufficient, couple times if you like heavy pepper. The white one is filled with Himalayan sea salt.

I smoke pink sea salt often - people REQUEST IT and I give it as gifts. Usually in a grinder.
