Made a no salt rub about 1/4 tsp of everything shown for I lb of spam.

Just added the first brush of sauce. It is a sweeter sauce made by a chain that started in my hometown. This stuff smells delicious already. I went a bit heavy on the apple chunks because I wanted to load up on smoke with such a short cook.

Wow. These are really amazing and I think they would be a fun addition to any gathering. Also make a good topper to pear and blue cheese salad (where I would usually have roasted pork). Note, I used the lower sodium Spam and would recommend that and using a rub that is salt free.

I keep Spam around for musubi and I like it in fried rice. Shocked with how yummy this is, it will certainly be made again.
