To go back on-topic for a moment . . . Blanton's is the high end for my bourbon purchases and that is an infrequent buy.  Today, at Sam's Club of all places, I saw a bottle of Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition, $1,600.  And it was only a fifth, it did have a cool looking bottle though.

My inner price point per bottle is $300. Don’t care what it is, I ain’t spending more than $300..nothing is MSRP’d over that that I desire. My Pappy 10 was $91.50. The EHT Barrel Proof I got for $100.

Blanton's indeed checks boxes. I'm not sure what it runs in your neck but I can get it regularly for $100. With that, check out the Bardstown Origin White or Cream label offerings. Both are MSRP'd between 50 and 60 dollars and will sink a Blanton's in a blind and keep a few bucks in your pocket.

its a no win....when canada becomes a state the geese become american
No, they'll stay Canadian Geese.  Named after the Great State of Canada! LOL
I shouldn't joke about that ... but if I lose my sense of humor, I would have lost everything.

What if Democrat wins in 2028, thanks to the 51st State, won't it be like Dumpster digging the proverbial grave?
ZERO chance ... the Libs in Canada (and for our US friends, this is the equivalent of Dems) are about to get decimated in the next election. Canadians are tired of this liberal BS ... we want government to service the population, lower taxes, control on immigration, and a strong economy!  Conservatives and Republicans are taking over now ... and even though we raise an eyebrow (or two) to some of the things Trump says ... I think we'd rather have that than Sleepy Joe or Hot Wind Kamala.

The chances that Canada would be a red state is zero.

Like I said, wait till the dust settled ... holding my breath to see housing and grocery prices drop south of the border, or here (assuming a Conservative win in our next election).
    Edit: but wait...

I thought he was speculating house prices dropping, it’s possible, we saw it in 08’ but historically not likely.
