Had to watch the debate between McMuffin and Traitor lee (senator, UT-O) tonight. It just finished.
Both completely ignored the very first question, and the PBS moderator actually repeated it, verbatim, as the 2nd question (hah!) By about the 13-minute mark, I thought they'd be coming to blows.
Things settled a bit, but the moderator had to reprimand the crowd several times, it sounded like the lee supporters flooded the auditorium. McMuffin stood his ground, and hit so hard a couple times that lee's speaking voice jumped an octave, despite his crowd support.
I couldn't call a winner, based on just the debate. Lots of lies from both sides. But my final Letter to the Editor before the election (to two of our three UT newspapers) was sent out this morning; both lee and I took the same Oath to the US Constitution, I took it seriously but we just saw his lips move, his true allegiance is to Traitor trump. @Botch I saw an interview With McMullin this past Sunday on Meet The Press. He was quite reasoned in his positions and hard over intending to maintain his (I) Independent affiliation. I hope he prevails although not one for whom I will be supporting $$ wise.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
