    52 years ago I unknowingly took a "bokeh" photo of our 8 year old god-daughter. She was clearly in focus but the entire background was blurry, providing a soft hazy picture of this lovely little girl. We loved it and presented a framed 8x10 enlargement to her parents. To our way of thinking it was simply BEAUTIFUL! But 3 months later we were in their home and saw what I was sure that frame but with a different picture. I said something and the mother said - the frame is so nice so I reused it after pitching that HORRIBLY out of focus picture!

    This is my favorite thread of October.  I personally like the blurry aesthetic.  Reminds me of when I got my first BGE.  Everything looked blurry through my tears of joy.
