Out of the eggs, I use it the medium the most. Right now I probably use my pizza oven more than any of the eggs. The power burner also gets a lot of use.tcampbell said:Ozzie_Isaac said:

That's huge and really nice. Is the burner alfresco? Where do you live? It's very pretty.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Griddle is a 30" Le Griddle 2-burner
Pizza Oven is Forno Ventezia Pronto 200 (wish I had gone bigger)
Live in Arizona, so I cook outside most days of the week. Sometimes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Ok I see now I thought the griddle was a gas grill. Nice. I have a griddle for my power burner that lets the grease drip into a drip pan below burner . Works pretty good and cleans up easy. I'll have to say you got the nicest I've ever seen. You got it all. Unbelievable really.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I doubt it is the nicest. Biggest maybe. There are some absolutely stunning outdoor kitchen/dinning areas on this forum, yours included. I love to see what/how people have done theirs. I was fortunate enough to have plenty of space, and an understanding wife. I already know the things I would do different next time.tcampbell said:

I have that same Alfresco side-burner with the teppanyaki (griddle) attachment. Probably the best line of outdoor kitchen gear available outside of Kalamazoo & GrillWorks. I checked the prices on Alresco's grills 'n such the other day and about fainted. Everything's almost doubled in price since I made my purchase.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave

Yes I didn't want to pay that much for a burner but I'm glad I bought it. It's really nice. I love doing seafood boils it will do the job.. Yes Kalamazoo is crazy pricing I'm sure it's top of the line and worth it, I just know it's way over my head. I have a Weber summit for a gas and it's a pretty good grill for the money I guess.SonVolt said:I have that same Alfresco side-burner with the teppanyaki (griddle) attachment. Used my burner tonight too. Bacon & potato egg fried rice. Crisp the bacon, fry potatoes in the bacon grease, carmelize onions, then quick fried egg. Then do rice and incorporate it all back in.tcampbell said:

I want to figure out how to do that. Do you remove other ingredients when doing rice? Do you use very high heat? I don't know the correct steps etc.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Here's a similar recipe that goes over the steps. This guy just released a really good cookbook on Wok cooking.

@tcampbell , @SonVolt gave you the best advice. Kenji alt-Lopez has the best videos for technique I have seen. My bacon fried rice is a riff off of Kenji's above video. I added potatoes to make it like the Asian equivalent of a breakfast burrito.
Short answer, I cook egg in peanut oil then remove, cook bacon next, remove, then fry potatoes in bacon fat and extra peanut oil. Remove potatoes and toss in onions into wok. Once they have softened I add in the rice and bump heat up and toss. Then I incorporate egg, bacon, and potatoes. Keep heat up and toss, add in light & dark soy to taste. Then a bit of Shaoxing wine (all liquid added around edge so it flows down and reduces before it hits the rice). Then I reduce heat and add in scallions.
It is simple and quick. Took longer to write the above almost than to cook it all.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

We are thinking of purchasing a camping kitchen for cooking outdoors. Really don't need a stove stand since our stove moves outside and attaches to the side of the PUP. Just something to do prep work and set stuff up on. Recommendations for Home remodeling contractor Mukilteo wa? Also, I see some of them have a sink basin built in, of course we have the sink in the PUP so probably don't need that outdoor also, unless for washing veggies and such off?
