Inside, it has 1 large cast iron bowl that it tall enough that cooking grate rest on top of it. Normally it’s seldom removed because of the weight. I honestly can’t lift it out myself. More on this later.caliking said:That's downright purty! Love the shelves and stand, too.
Can you show the inside? Is it similar to the BGE grate + firebox + fire ring?Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -

Thanks a bunch.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Got the fire bowl out this afternoon.
Ended up running a heavy duty A/C duct zip tie through the bottom holes. This gave me the extra hand hold I needed. This bowl is built like a tank and shows little damage after sitting with water in it for who knows how many years. I light sanded and sprayed with cooking spray. Will fire it up and cure it as soon as I cool off a little.

Gave everything a light sanding and sprayed with cooking oil. Just doing a slow cure and clean burn right now. I really like the grill. So solid. Only drawback is weight of fire bowl if you’re someone that has to do a full clean all the time. Lower vent opening is very large and pretty easy to rake the ash through the vent, like BGE with larger opening.
The newer version has some changes over this model but nothing major. I dearly wish this had the wheels on the cart. Unfortunately it’s not made in a way to just add them. But one step at a time. Thanks for following.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -

Almost certain they can fix you up with what you need.
I recommend calling them vs. ordering online. The last time I spoke with someone there, he was very knowledgeable about their products, steered me to what I needed, without trying to upsell, or any crap like that.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
The hidden cost of ownership is the gym membership you will need to powerlift the components. 😂Photo Egg said:

Likely hernia repair first.

Fairly hot.Ozzie_Isaac said:Looking forward to some pics and some cooks! Curious how hot the outside gets.
Grill stabilized at a little over 400 degrees, in the shade, the IR reads 290. The 290 reading was pretty consistent around the dome. The cast iron griddle inside was reading almost 500 degrees. I have not calibrated the thermometer but it seems like it’s close.
