Memorial Day ribs and a nice surprise

I’ve been off ribs for awhile cuz I just couldn’t get a good result. Back on them now. Got some nice babybacks for today. I’m out for a bit so figured I’d try the old flameboss. Very happy to see it fired right up and connected to the internet. Considering most of my electronics seem to become obsolete on a few years, this was a nice surprise.

@caliking sometimes I turbo them intentionally, sometimes not! They seem to be coming along nicely - around 180 or so but they’re getting bendy and pulling back from the ends. Hoping not to screw them up now…

@lousubcap pretty much. I jam the thermopen in and give it a twist.

    These hit the spot.

Ribs are perhaps my most favorite cook on the BGE. Those look exceptional. I guarantee no leftovers with that cook!

@YukonRon thanks Ron :) it took me awhile to realize that buying the cheapest ribs possible is not the way to consistently good final product…. I’m a bit slow…
