Last weekend I was fortunate enough to have the best lamb chops to ever cross my lips. Took me three tries to make sure they were that good. Nice Indian flavor profile. Delicious.
This weekend, I attempted to replicate to the best of my sub par abilities. Found a rack and cut into chops. Similar marinade to Tikka Masala. Served with a cilantro mint sauce, spicy chick peas (chana masala) and sautéed asparagus with cumin seeds, ginger and lime.
Not as good, but it was a flavorful plate that we all enjoyed.
Only took me seven chops to decide I had failed.
