There is this kind of crazy story going around about a memo written by a current FSB operative.  It has been translated and apparently several news outlets think it's authentic.

There are many parts to it, but one that caught my attention was how the intelligence agencies inside Russia were asked to analyze the hypothetical situation of widespread western sanctions being applied.  None of them knew why they were being asked to do this, because they had no idea an invasion of Ukraine was being planned.  They all returned analyses indicating the country was of course completely prepared for such a thing, because doing otherwise normally invites plenty of criticism from leadership.  In other words, this is not an environment in which anyone feels comfortable telling Putin and his cronies something they don't want to hear.  

Of course they were not actually prepared for what they're witnessing now, and they're paying the real price for it.  Insane.

Florida is the first state to disregard COVID-19 vaccination guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which encourage vaccination among all children ages 5 and older.

The name of this state needs to be changed to Denial.

That whole argument about "it wasn't stupid, it was crazy smart" is wearing thin.  And then the immediate segue into how wind farms suck must be a stroke of genius in stopping an autocrat from attacking a sovereign nation.
