If you know you're not supposed to/don't have to pre-rinse but you do anyhow, then you are somewhere on the OCD spectrum.I can see doing it if you only run a load every few days.I don't. SWMBO does. I am the master at loading the dishwasher, however.______________________________________________I love lamp..

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.alaskanassasin said:nolaegghead said:If you know you're not supposed to/don't have to pre-rinse but you do anyhow, then you are somewhere on the OCD spectrum.I can see doing it if you only run a load every few days.I don't. I pre-rinse. Our dishwasher is basic. I purchased during the supply shortages (still ongoing). While trying to decide what dishwasher I should buy with the sales guy, I narrowed it down to 3 that he said were in stock. My top two pics of the 3 turned out to be out of stock, so I went home with a dishwasher that you would probably put in a rental or a house your are flipping. I really like it. I think it just runs on a timer. It has no smart features, which I think is smart. I really like the 1 hour cycle button. With my pre-rinsing and the one hour cycle, I do just fine. Other dishwashers hold your stuff hostage for a long time. I think the shortest cycle on our previous washers was somewhere in the 2 hour 20 minute range.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

@Fishlessman - You can't be serious?? Odds are that he is more likely to have to make a quick stop and then he will become close friends with your can. Geez-made a contract with a freight carrier that farmed out to a smaller outfit that rents 26 foot budget rental trucks. took a week to find a carrier that would even respond. this thing would smash right thru the cab on a panic stop. two ratchet straps on it now, not the best setup but better than a plastic tie strap. will see how it comes back from the heat treater next week. those budget rental box trucks look to be designed to deliver potato chips. its getting hard to do business

What is the wall thickness on that? It would be nice to get some eyebolts welded on for handling/strapping down. I assume that would just be a potential point of failure/fatigue.fishlessman said:lousubcap said:@Fishlessman - You can't be serious?? see the chain attached to the center plate, that attaches to a hook on the fork truck to balance a long load on shorter forks

I'm doing all kinds of hydrological engineering calculations when I load it, and I can load it the likes of which this world has never seen.

We did purchase a new Miele for our kitchen remodel. The fact that I am more excited about this than any other aspect of the remodel likely means that I am officially old."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I guess you got NOLA to do the hydrological analysis before finalising the purchase?JohnInCarolina said:We did purchase a new Miele for our kitchen remodel. The fact that I am more excited about this than any other aspect of the remodel likely means that I am officially old. -
No pre-rinse/washing here, just scrape off any heavy residue.I agree about loading correctly being of high importance, thinking is required!LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

When I sold my last house the only thing I missed was a fantastic Bosch dishwasher I installed about 6 months prior. No heating element for drying, and yet it worked amazing.JohnInCarolina said:We did purchase a new Miele for our kitchen remodel. Specifically about how much the protease and amylase enzymes work vs the van der Walls forces that are broken via hydrological mechanical force in a standard surfactant to remove soiled compounds. He seems to think that a micro analysis of fractures start the separation and I disagree.______________________________________________I love lamp..
