2 whole packer briskets on XL

First post in many years... I’m curious if anyone has done 2 whole packer briskets on an XL and how easily they fit.

The smaller Costco prime packers would fit with an elevated 2nd grate.

Briskets come Small to XL size.
Just depends on the sizes you choose.
I normally buy them towards the large size and then cut some off each smaller end of the brisket and grind this into burgers. So I basically cut my briskets to fit.

You wouldnt even have an issue with 2 large briskets on the xl if you have the adjustable rig. I did a large brisket on top and 4 shoulders on the bottom a long time ago when i had an xl.

I did these two 16 pounders before trimming with no problem. The XL gives you plenty of real estate.

Two on the XL with a rack no problem. These are each about 12 LBS before trimming.

Did you have any issue with the top brisket dripping onto the bottom one at all?

NOPE. Still had good bark on both. Maybe I got lucky.
