No thefts here but not because the FedEx drivers give a $hit. I have spoken to every driver, employee and contract worker I have encountered for the past decade and talked with and written my desires to their local distribution center about where to leave packages. Trick answer, by the garage door out of street sight at the top of the driveway. So, it is unanimous-always get left at the front door around 75-85' further hike with the package and in plain sight.
Just seized on the opportunity to drive another nail into that company.
BTW- with minor exception, UPS gets it right. FWIW

You once had to sign for home delivery. Now they don't even ring the doorbell to alert you of its delivery. Maybe a drone will make contact with the recipient.Fort Wayne Indiana

been lucky here, the post office and ups drops the stuff off at work if im not at home, they just started doing that over the summer. saw an amazon prime truck unload the truck into a budget rental van at the end of my driveway a week back when out walking the dog, real pirates

I have had only a couple of incidents, but enough to piss me off. I even posted a sign requesting that all deliveries ring the doorbell. So I installed a Blink camera and I now get chirp on my phone and announcement through Alexa that motion has been detected.
