Cryovac butt- safety question

Nothing definitive that google has found.  Several discussions on bbq brethren sites. 

Just found a hidden butt in the fridge that has been in there since mid August. So roughly 30 days. 

I know for beef people will wet age and I would eat with no second thoughts. Does that hold true for pork as well?

cut it open and it passes the smell test so I think I am good?
