My new “pre-owned” Egg

Hello all, I recently joined the forum after rescuing a pre-owned Large off a local internet ad. 
I brought it home and gave it a good cleaning. Bought a new Reggulator top and conveggtor, as those pieces were missing.
Thanks to forum, I’m 3 for 3 on successful cooks.

With the nest and the beat up side shelves, it was $1K less than the package at my local Ace. Lots of savings for rubs, lump, accessories....and probably will still buy a new mini or mini max soon.Sellers story was that they had both gone vegan !Well, I’m not new to forums in general so I had done my research. Everything checked out, no cracks and no surprises so far.Risky without the warranty, I know, but I couldn’t pass it up.

Personally I think most vegans are more cracked than the Egg that had a dog tied to it. I had one dump my turkey meatloaf into the garbage rather than just return it to the serving tray(clean utensils). The meat loaf has a cup of shredded carrots, half an onion, half an apple, and a handful of spinach per pound of organic ground turkey.
