Ribs I bought already cut into individual ribs - will they cook faster than if they were all together ie plate ribs?

Should go faster, yes. Rationale: smaller cross section to expose to the heat.

Yep. Slightly faster. They'll still take a while. I do them that way sometimes when I'm feeling like a lot of bark is what I'm looking for.
