Joetisserie baskets

I ordered a joetisserie for my new KJ 3 and want to get a flat basket and tumble basket for it. Any suggestions?
Sorry for asking about red on the green forum but we all know their forums suck.

I have always had trouble getting wings crispy. Does the joetisserie help?

I sometimes take them out sauce them and then put them back on the grill. Awesome. I own borh the round and square baskets. The square is tight fit. I mean tight on a large egg.Columbus, Ohio

The fill it and grill it is pretty awesome. Soak it in water while you eat, the 'junk' melts off after, and then toss it in the dishwasher. Almost zero effort. Also, spinning your food is just fun.

Following up, I bought a flat basket too, but haven't used it yet. Stainless so assuming it will soak and cleanup as easy as the other, just haven't used it yet. The intention was to spin a spatchcocked chicken, whole fish, etc. Probably time to dig it out.Arlington, TX

spray it with anti stick cooking spray, helps a lot. Sos pads after a hot soak, it all comes off

Went fishing back home with some friends and my brothers a few weeks ago. Wilmington River/ Wassaw Sound on the coast of Savannah - tore up some redfish, trout, black drum and sheepshead - would have been outstanding roasted whole in the flat basket.

I’ve used my basket for wings and they turn out great.
BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500. Obsessed with rotisserie. -
My first kamado joe cook 3 years ago was a pork loin on the joetisserie. I had rancid smoke from cheap lump and not letting it mellow out and the cook did not go well. I assumed it was from the fat dripping on the fire and haven't used the joetisserie again until this weekend. 2nd pork loin done correctly was fantastic now I'm excited about the joetisserie again. I'm still trying to justify a basket though. I cooked wings indirect, raised in the dome last night at 350 for an hour and 45 minutes and they were fantastic. Hard to imagine the basket making them any better. Any other good uses for the basket?

I need to cook more wings. My one run in the joetisserie wasn't great. But it was my first use. I've done a couple of pork loins that have been great. First thing is that it is hard to cook to temp or appearance. I've went direct at ~425 for thirty minutes and I just need a better way to get a reliable result.
Second thing is that the amount you are cooking greatly changes things. This probably should have been common sense but it wasn't. The cooking time/weight doesn't seem to be linear.
That being said I have seen some positive results. I do believe that the basket can deliver a better wing than just on the grill. I just have to not burn myself out before I perfect it to my preference. -
When the fat renders, and you can poke a skewer or spatula through the wire to knock the stuck wings off the basket, they're done. Works for me, and the wings are crispy. Fried-like.Arlington, TX

I use it to for chicken pieces, seafood, salmon roast green Chiles, for a reverse sear, and anything else. Don’t sweat the cleanup and save money on excess amounts of oil on your rotisserie baskets....SOS pads do a great job cleaning them up perfectly like new.
