Nice ribs.  Maybe add a quote to your sig line also, dress it up a little.

Nice. Are you finding that the new bands don’t open as wide as the old style?

    Thanks, all.

I'm in Dallas today, home tomorrow. Then I will show you a picture that represents what a complete moron I am when it comes to Egg Dome assembly.

It will be worth the wait, believe me.

Yes. Was only a problem when loading from a full bag of Rockwood.

I would think larger or more protein might be a problem as well.

There is nothing you or anyone participating in this forum that can ever think they have done something more stupid with a BGE than me. I think I have done them all.

Glad you are cooking again...the ribs looked perfect. Congratulations!

Here's a comment I had on the new bands a couple of days ago:
"I have the new band assembly (since Sep 2019) and find the smaller total lid opening range to be a bit of a challenge if cooking on a very elevated setup.  I am still adjusting to the "hitch" motion I experience with the dome , especially when closing.  Anyone else or did I hose up the install?? "  FWIW-
