If money is not any concern, I use and recommend Hilti.
Hilti is without question worth the premium price.

You should be thankful you don’t get texts from @tarheelmatt otherwise, it’s a whole different set of images.lkapigian said:Every time I see this thread makes me think of one of my favorite mindless movies Drill bit TaylorHe’s still locked out so he can’t reply😎 -
I purchased Hilti for my substation construction crews. Agree they are the toughest tools built to high standards. I also tooled their trucks with Milwaukee battery tools. Both stood up to heavy construction use. I had a big tool budget, so price was not a issue.GregW said:If money is not any concern, I use and recommend Hilti.

I'm a big fan of the Ryobi 18V line of tools.

I bought a 9V Dewalt Drill in ~94 used for rugged homeowner use but aside from replacing batteries 5 years ago thing has worked and lasted incredibly.XLBGE, LBGE, Charbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q200, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.
Not quite in Austin, TX City Limits
Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
Here’s why you don’t buy Dewalt. My $600 table saw has a plastic paddle to lock or unlock the angle adjustment. The back part where you tighten it down cracked several years ago probably a year or so after I bought it and just spins around the nut. I take it apart and use a socket to lock or unlock when I need it but I have the day off today so I decided I’d give them a call. I told the person what it was and they gave me the part number and sent me a link to where I could buy it. It’s a $1.55 part. You buy Dewalt if you want but that’s the kind of service they have.
