As above, if you can't create the market based on the merits of the product then perhaps the market is not ready to embrace.  I am a big fan of PETA-

    Have a great evening!

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I think most handheld food items that the outer layer exists as a vessel to get the inner ingredients delivered to your mouth counts.

    Taco, burrito, hot dog, etc.

Hell, even a calzone, maybe egg rolls could count too.

I did beat down a Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Popeye's today.  Mobile order, so I didn't have to encounter the madness that is a trip to Pop's.  I'll give it a few weeks until I contemplate another visit.

So if a taco is a sandwich is a burrito a sandwich?
    Yes.
Edit:  As long as it has meat.  Real meat.  Not some meat alternative.
So a bean burrito is not a sandwich.

    A PB&J is a sandwich.

A grilled cheese is a sandwich.

Point duly noted.  They are all sandwiches.  Vegetarian sandwiches.

It's good.  It's not good enough to subject yourself to this:

Well, I’m in the camp that a burrito isn’t a sandwich. Or a taco.  A quesadilla is a quesadilla, not a really thin grilled cheese.

It is a rabbit hole, I’ve had too many beer-catalyzed debates on these topics and I’m still not sure about a hot dog (always leaning no, but not defendable).

    Pastrami from Katz
What kind of Kat did you use for the pastrami?   They primarily use brisket here in Texas, but I’m open to new things.  How large was this Kat?  Most of the ones in my neighborhood are kinda on the small side so might take a few.

Had the alt meat sample at Costco today. I doubt if I can put enough pickles, onions, tomatoes, mustard, Dukes, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, ketchup or any other condiment I know of, to mask that taste.

    Not for me.
I’m still waiting for someone to market meat that looks like vegetables.
arbys claims to be doing a marrot, turkey based carrot ;)

Was heading outta Wally World earlier and noticed the adjacent Popeyes didn’t have a crowd. Picked one of their sammiches up.  It was decent.  But didn’t care for all the extra breading. Just made it greasier in my opinion. I’d personally take a chic-fil-a sandwich over the Popeyes every time.  :)  With mayo and sweet sriracha sauce.

Did make some pretty decent steak and mushroom hoagies with white cheddar and chipotle mayo on
Sunday in honor of the “holiday.”
