OT - How do you take some heat out of hot jalapeños?

Sea2SkiSea2Ski Posts: 4,082
We have a great CSA nearby.  Here was today’s haul: (what is in the red bowl is what is left from last week)

One of the items this week were jalapeño peppers. I like hot, but these things are super hot.  I know deseeding and deveining them takes a lot of heat out, but even when doing that, they are HOT.  At least too hot for me....

Anyone have any ideas on what to do with them or a method to take the heat down a notch or two?  I am sure there is some trick out there that I do not know about.

Thanks in advance....
Burning lump in Downingtown, PA or diesel in Cape May, NJ.
....just look for the smoke!
