Hey guess what...I get part of my life back Monday Morning
Eggheads, it’s happening!!! I had to beg and make promises, but Monday morning I get to go back to work. My VP stated if I could get my doc to agree she’d let me do what I could and work the hours I’d like. It’s been 10 months, 3 additional surgeries, weeks in a rehab facility, and hours and hours of pt, but it’s all been worth it.
I feel like I am going to my first day of school, I’m excited and nervous at the same time. As I think I about this long journey, and the continued rehab ahead, for the first time in a long time I have hope.
Now if I could just get him to let me lift 25lbs I’d be able to use my egg. He tells me that’s 4-6mos away, so I have goal to work towards. What a great day that will be, already planing to max out it’s capacity!!!

@WeberWho thank you so much. This has been one heck of a long 10mos. I’ve had some very low moments during this time and had some thoughts I’m not proud of.
One of the things that’s kept me going is reading the post on here. I’ve lived vicariously through all of your eggs.

@TN_Egger I work for a hospital system and typically spent my days looking at profits and products to keep our expenses in check. I also did some chart auditing and occasionally would help with patient care ( very rare ). When I go back I’m going to be auditing charts, meeting with reps and staying in my office, my VP said do what I can and ease back into life. Going to try 5hrs a day the first week or so, and work my way back into the 55-60 per week I was use to.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2
