Relocating to Raleigh

i officially move to Raleigh myself this weekend and the family follows in a few weeks, any suggestions of stuff to try in the next few weeks around the area i would appreciate it, i will be alone until they arrive.

I visited Raleigh for the first time last month and was very impressed -- great city. If you're a beer drinker, the Raleigh Beer Garden is just about impossible to beat.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

Huge network of greenways connecting the city to surrounding communities. Everything John said with the addition of Postal Fish in Pittsboro, Big Ed's in Raleigh and Brew and Q in Apex. You will be 150 miles from some of the most beautiful beaches in the country ,not to mention Asheville, Beaufort, Oriental,Duck and many more.

Clyde Coopers BBQ is a classic place in downtown Raleigh. Also, the Angus Barn near the airport has been there for more than 50 years. Fantastic wine cellar and great steaks.
