I have read (here) that you need something to get nothing. So, going big, today's question, "Define the universe. Give three examples." Way beyond me.Happy Saturday!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. Aristotle postulated "nature abhors a vacuum."
In physics, a vacuum is an area with nothing in it and extreamly low air pressure.
Torricelli, Galileo, Descartes, Pascal, Carlyle, von Guericke, and many others have either made the same point or tried to argue against it.
So really, we are approaching intellectual level discussing this theory of physics, which forces us into the levels of the elite thinkers.

BRA-A-A-AP!! Extremely low air pressure requires the presence of "some" air, ergo, not a true vacuum.YukonRon said:In physics, a vacuum is an area with nothing in it and extreamly low air pressure.
