    I agree, but 25 recalls on one pickup in the mid 90's, and oil leaks related to bad head gaskets on 4 cylinder engines the factory wouldn't fix free? 

    I hated to see the station wagon disappear.

    How did Chrysler do so bad in the late 70’s & early ‘80’s?  They had Kahn pitching Cordobas with rich Corinthian Leather!  Did they run out of leather?

    @Botch - I resemble that remark as being old I grabbed one of the first 15K original 240Z's in 1971.  Only new car I have ever owned.  Drove it like I stole it and it was about the most reliable car I had.  Replaced an oil pressure switch at around 25 K miles and besides the routine preventive maintenance that was it. 
    But in keeping with my heritage I have never bought a car model or brand that I previously owned.  FWIW-
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
