Smash burgers

First smash burgers - eaten or cooked - and they turned out really good. I did them raised direct at about 500F with a bit of peanut oil on the cast iron. I didn’t have any American cheese so I used smoked cheddar.
Next time I’d probably go a bit higher temp and close the lid more frequently, but otherwise I was very pleased.
