What are you making for Mother’s Day?

I’m slightly in the dog house- Mother’s Day tomorrow and wife’s birthday is Monday and I have a flight overseas tomorrow at noon🤔

So we are celebrating tonight- cooking a prime tenderloin, some zucchini pizza boats, Brussels and Caesar salad.

Will have to find something special from the wine fridge to make up for it.

Hope everyone has plans to spoil the Moms tomorrow- they deserve all the recognition they can get.

Just cleaned the kitchen as i work tomorrow. Had my parents and my in-laws over. Panneed chicken breasts and macque choux fettuccine with marinated green beans. No egg due to the 6” of rain we got.

Almost in exactly the same boat, flying internationally tomorrow first thing.

I made a simple BBQ chicken thighs and baked potato dinner tonight. It was quite good. Bonus points: I made extra chicken to store in the freezer so my wife/kid have something ready to go one night this week while I'm gone.

My wife requested salmon for Mother’s Day.

We made her hot smoked Norwegian salmon with dill sauce.
She also got some loin cut country pork ribs and roasted fingerling potatoes.

    Sorry,  did not get pics.

Don't post much, but after knowing each other since 2nd grade decided to try something different for Sandy - panisse.  Easy and was a hit.  Will do again.

You really need to post more often. That’s a lovely meal.

For my Bride of 48 yrs - Lamb Loin Chops (reverse sear on XL), asparagus, salad and panisse with Garlic aoli.  Of course a little sparking rose of her choice.  Shared with youngest daughter (39).
