Some pics from the weekend. Finished my swiveling fire-pit grate by cementing a 2" pipe 14" deep using a post hole digger. Not fun in compacted red clay. Cooked a whole Picanah (sirloin cap) which I think now is my new favorite cut of beef.
Made some chimmichuri from a Mallman book that was... amazing considering it calls for diluting it down with 1 cup of salt way, which I found odd at first. Way better than my normal recipes from SE or CI that use EVOO and Red Wine Vinegar alone.

I bought the rest of the Super Tech (Wix) oil filters for my Kubota riding lawnmower last week at Walmart. They're always out when you need one. So I bought 4 years worth. No more running around to multiple stores when needing one.

Thank you. My uncle was cutting the grass at my Grandmother's house today. Grandmother came home at lunch (still works at 83) and found him dead on the back lawn, laying right next to the mower. He was in good health, but when it's your time, it's your time. Leaves behind three sons and a one year old grand-daughter. Grandma was immediately put on heart monitor at the hospital and is putting it on herself that she should have hired the work out. What a f'n mess. Not sure how much more I can take. I've been the strong one for family all day. Thanks for allowing me to vent here.
