Between the NFL draft, the Battle for Winterfell and Endgame, this is going to be one of the premiere entertainment weekends for the year. Looking forward to starting a long weekend.

Holy crap the crowd at the Draft is huge.
-
Will read the results AM following but on the local and regional Sports Talk networks Nashville is really doing it up independent of the draft. Tim McGraw is playng a concert (free) Friday nite and I think there is much more entertainment planned for tonite as well as Sat. Orders of magnitude beyond the draft these days. FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Watching the draft on TV is boring AF. Of course #1 is KM going to AZ.

Bah. Watson for the win. He's (It's?) solving cancer dilemmas worldwide right now. Science, bishes!

I went to that last year (near my hometown) and was surprised how little Corn Bread I saw. You'd think it was tent after tent of corn bread tasting. Nope. It's just your basic county fair food.

There’s a time and a place for an aphorism, and this is it; Squeaky Bum Time. We have a genuine two-handed title race, a feasible Houdini act at the bottom and a handful of European places that no tea seems to be able to nail down. Three games to go and a surprising amount still to play for.
Sifting this weeks teams in budgie-smugglers from those still on the merry-go-round we start with;
Liverpool & Huddersfield. No-one can see beyond Klopp’s men humping the Terriers good and proper. I hope Salah gets a hatful because I have Triple Captain-ed him in my FF team (Yes, should have done Ederson last week with 2 clean sheets, I know that now – OK, move on.) Three points for the Reds puts the pressure back on Citeh, how now do hold the advantage overall. 4-0 the Scousers.
Tomorrow lunchtime Spurs welcoming West Ham after an exhausting 5 mile trip up the road. Spurs really have grasped their new stadium and well done for giving it to the sceptics. Vincent Janssen got on the pitch for Spurs victory against Brighton this week. Why is that notable? He was last seen in the squad when we all feared the Millennium Bug. But who’s laughing, he’s on about £30k a week. Anyway – close result but a home win. 2-1 Spurs.
Palace welcome the blue Scouser’s. According to form it’s an away win. Everton have made a late bid for the Everton Cup (7thPlace) and are in form. Palace are at home, enough said. 2-1 to the Toffees. Palace are safe, so who cares really???
Fun fixture #1, Cardiff at Fulham. Anyone with a heart wants Cardiff to smash Fulham because it will briefly make them level on points with the filthy Seagulls – who play later. I think Cardiff will be bang at it and put the notoriously flakey Fulham defence to the test. But if its nil all at 70 mins or Cardiff are behind, its all over for them I think. I’m piling on a 3-0 Cardiff win. Come on Colin and the lads.
Southampton are re-invented since Ralf arrived and should easily pot the travelling Bournemouth . 2-0 I am saying and a return to mid-table obscurity next year for the Saints. Believe me, that’s hallowed ground for Palace and several others!
Once again Wolves meet Watford. The ugly Hornets are at home and will love this match having come from behind to win the FA Cup Semi. Perhaps they’ll tear in to each other, that would be fun – after all a potential European a spot is up for grabs between them. 4-3 Wolves for me – why not?
Fun fixture #2, the tea-time fixture is Brighton hosting Newcastle. Form guide says an absolute bore-fest, but hold on – the (filthy) Seagulls haven’t scored since Friends ended and Newcastle could be kindly described as obdurate. Brighton really really really need points out of this, the whole universe (all Palace fans) wants them to get turned over. The weakness is Newcastle are safe and frankly might not turn up, thoughts of beaches and new contracts clouding their judgment. I think 0-0 is probable, to be honest, as it suits everyone on the pitch. A Toon goal early would be absolutely joyous. Lets say 1-2 then, just for giggles, with a very very late winner breaking Brighton hearts.
Sunday has a TV friendly three game spread all afternoon.
Leicester have found their feet and will host Arsenal. The visitors have gone all Arsenal and blinked when it mattered. They were poor against Palace and have now caught the colly-wobbles. I think the Foxes will pick them off 2-0.
Burnley, now safe, host Man City. Man City will win – early or late in the game, not by a logical progression of goals and chances. 2-0 and advantage Citeh with two to play.
The omni-shambles that is Man Utd – lets be frank a more needy team you can not imagine, play the curates egg that is Chelsea. A very peculiar game will unfold with possibly the highest ever total weekly wage on display, especially if the lesser spotted Sanchez turns up with his £500K a week (I shizz you not guys). Both teams need a proper purge, Sarri is unpopular at Chelsea and you know what - Ole is not that good at Utd. He is essentially re-living his youth in a slightly creepy bloke fixated with his Dad kind of way. I don’t care what happens to Utd, they hogged too much limelight for too long and need to live on the other side of the road for a while. Meh 1-1 because I care that little.
Right it’s Friday night and I need beer. Cheerio.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -
