So glad I could see this ... what a game
-
I will refrain from raining on the friggin parade other than to suggest that yes he can play golf but his personal integrity and moral compass do not merit the adulation, at a minimum. FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Hasn’t he largely reformed his ways Frank? I really don’t know - that’s just my impression.

@JohnInCarolina Seems that happens with the substantial majority of those who find out their income stream is going to take a major hit (aka Nike). No doubt he has changed over time but that doesn't merit the wholesale write-off he gets today. The leopard doesn't change spots.
Of course we are rolling into Easter so anything is possible I guess.
Again, my sincerest appreciation to you and the crew for all it took to plan, organize and execute BB this past weekend. For those on the outside, it looks like "it all just happens" and nothing could be further from reality. Charity donation for the close to a great undertaking. Congrats!

No room for rehabilitation in your world, eh?

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Kudos to Tiger! I hope this just portends an even better year for him and his.

Best sports day, in a long, long, time.
Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories. -
At his level of notoriety he doesn't merit this adulation based on his past. He will always be one who was morally weak beyond his talents and thought he could get away with it. And the rehab and redemption can come with Easter Sunday!

I have 2 Nike TW polo golf shirts that I haven’t worn in years. Going to wear one tomorrow at the course! Maybe it will be good luck?

Don't you mean a Cheetah?...a little adultary humor.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Who gives a sh!t what Tiger does in his free time? Personally I don’t. I look to the television for entertainment not for a moral compass.

Watching Brandel Chamblee stuttering and stumbling when talking about Tiger this afternoon was great. For those that don’t follow, he was a marginal lowest tier Tour player turned Golf Channel analyst that is a unreserved Tiger hater.
-
No question that Duval had a much better week. Chamblee couldn't get the ridiculous takes out fast enough.
Stillwater, MN -
Sure hope you guys don’t watch NFL, or MLB, or NBA. Not very saintly there either.

To be honest, if my most embarrassing moments were aired out publicly like Tiger's has been I don't think I would have been able to handle it the way he has. I think his on camera presence over the past couple of years has seemed rather genuine and worthy of emulation.
His mother and children were there to support him after his win today. Legends of the game of golf were there to support him in his win today. That's good enough for me. Congratulations Tiger.

Most of us wouldn’t come out very well if put under the full media microscope. It’s been over ten years since his last win, let him enjoy the day.

On a lighter note, when I first read RRP's OP, I could tell he was filled with excitement, and I wondered how much money he had to wager to win $2 Million? 🙄

Curious what the Venn diagram of "voted for 45" & "Tiger is not worthy of redemption/forgiveness" looks like.

It took $85,000 to win $1.19 million at 14:1 on Tuesday at Westgate.
Las Vegas, NV -
Well, there you have it, then. So, maybe in the neighborhood of $143,000.

I picked him to win on Thursday. What is my prize?

17 months ago, Eldrick was ranked 1999th in the World Rankings. Let that sink in for a minute.
“There is absolutely zero bad or negative things that come from this,” added Rickie Fowler, fresh off his second consecutive top-10 Masters finish. “And if you happen to think (there is), find something else to do.”

Nice. I enjoyed reading that.

Well, maybe it's time to rethink. Really??

When your moral compass is free-wheeling there should be no surprise here. Once a snake...

Christ Frank... you’d think this guy peed in your cheerios or something.
