    Not remotely in the same Friday eve humor league as above but: First up - you are always a parent regardless of your children's age. So just mentally gear up for it. Degree of interaction clrarly relationship dependent.

    Now for a couple of insights: I was upfront at the kid's early ages that I am the bad guy. If you were in a situation where you needed an excuse/someone to blame etc I was that person. No limit on the scenario, If you needed an out-here I am.

    And the closer: when you wanted/needed to have the very awkward discussion about an extremely challenging topic (sex at the top of the list), the forum for some level of success was driving in the car at night. Took the physical discomfort out of the equation and actually was quite effective.

    Just my experiences. FWIW-

    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
