Who roasts oysters on the egg?
I haven’t posted a cook in a while. Made one of my favorite appetizers tonight. Roasted oysters with garlic butter and parm. Easy and never disappoints. How do you like your oysters?

Brother, never met an oyster I didn’t like. Might come from being raised near the coast. My favorite (secound is raw) is Oyster Stew.....with oyster crackers of course.

I have a couple of those oyster cooking dishes. They are great!!!! I like it better under the broiler than on top of a hot fire though.

Yum!
I grill oysters quite often. I usually don't have the patience to fill them with condiments... soon as the open when cooked or I open them raw, I just want to eat them. :)
What I do, however, is make garlic butter on the side. Put a little bit of that on a roasted oyster with a splash of hot sauce, slurp it out of the shell! Nothing better.

Only had my XL for two months and it was one of the first cooks I did, paired with some salmon. Bacon, shallots, and spinach in the oysters.

Oh yeah...grill/roast 'em right in the shell. No clean up, and a delicious appetizer to boot!
