OT. Never thought it would be me but I've joined the Yeti cooler clan.

The wife works at a plastics company in town making Yeti coolers.  They had a safety meeting last week, and if you make a suggestion to increase safety, you get your name in a drawing, we she was picked and brought home a Tan Yeti 35!

Congratulations at least you didn't pay for it.. I bought one and really it worked great for resting and transporting a pork but last Halloween.  Also used it to store milk and yogurt when power was out for 4 days. I thanks your wife and the company. The damn thing works great.

Very neat! Wanted to say very cool, but tried to avoid the pun.

Bought both a Roadie and a 45 for traveling. The only problem is that 45 is at the top of my lifting ability now when loaded. But it will keep frozen for close to a week.

I'm way up in Wisconsin, there is a small roto-mold plastics company that contracts with Yeti to build some of the hard side coolers

Congratulations and enjoy. The only thing better than a good cooler is a free cooler👍

You are going to enjoy this cooler. I have the 35 now. Set me back the standard amount. Love mine and in fact, leave it in the back of my vehicle. I have a 65 for the larger needs....found the Roadie just a bit to small for my needs.

As for the Yeti family.,..welcome aboard. If the egg don’t get it, the Yeti will.

Yeti, Rockwood, and BGE. I have several Yeti products, and will buy more.

Absolutely holds up better than any other cooler I have owned in my life.

Trust is one thing, confidence is another.

    Congrats on the freebie.

I have a feeling that all the above will more than likely come to pass👍

  • I did a test with my yeti and an equivalently sized Coleman marine extreme a couple years ago. One in the front of the boat and one in the back all week on vacation. Same exact conditions all week. Filled them both jam full with ice. At the end of the week the Coleman marine had big chunks of ice still and the yeti was just cold water. But you are right, the yeti is bulletproof. I’ve changed hinges several times on the Coleman but have never had an issue with the yeti and I stand on it all the time. Definitely a place for both coolers for me. Oh and I have a rtic too.
