Someday I'd like to buy an old truck like that. I wouldn't change a single thing on the outside, no paint - nothing. Then I'd drop in a big block, update suspension, and make the interior nice.

Getting bids on replacing my fence. Prices seem high, if I can’t negotiate a decent deal I may just declare an emergency.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

After paying for our fence, I have decided that I am in the wrong line of business. 5K and that didn't cover the fence I share with neighbor. Not fixing that until they move and take their 6 dogs with them.Legume said:Getting bids on replacing my fence. Ordered this vac yesterday (along with a few other things).Plan to use it to vac out the new truck (2019 Silverado LTZ Z71) and maybe use it with the BGE. Or I'll just get an attachment for my Shop Vac to use with the BGE.I picked the vac since it's both corded and cordless, smaller than my roll-around shop vac, and should do what I want well enough. I have both battery types that will work with it, so I'm set there. Also getting ready to pull the trigger on one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019LIO7V4

I need one of these. I'm a bit tired of dragging my large shop vac around for minor vacuuming chores.1911Man said:Ordered this vac yesterday (along with a few other things).Plan to use it to vac out the new truck (2019 Silverado LTZ Z71) and maybe use it with the BGE. I was watching it at about #130. Then it dropped to under $100 so I pulled the trigger on it. Best of both worlds since it's both corded and cordless.mEGG_My_Day said:

Thanks. The company I work for has a program that allows us to get them at a discount. ~$150 shipped for the front set and the back seat liner that covers the whole floor.pgprescott said:

Nice! Their stuff is not cheap but it’s a great product by a great company. Like many have mentioned here, quality only hurts once. Enjoy!KennyCJR said:

I am right handed and this image is taken from the unorthodox 'inverted inside' angle. Not unlike in Top Gun. And in another parallel, I do see more than hints of MotherGoose in this picture as well.
On to more practical matters, I genuinely 'discovered' this - what I am calling 'feature', of the broom head a few weeks ago. I admit to having lapsed in my observation of correct broom storage technique (head up).
This meant my trusty companion was grasped, deployed and re-stowed in its operational setting. In the lead up to my discovery I did notice an unusual scraping noise and steering feedback which @Eoin will recall from his Lotus days - before cars' steering went all electrical. Rotating 'trusty companion' my eyes alighted upon the displayed degradation.
In true kaizen fashion I now have to learn from this experience and improve. As the leaves are all but gone I see the immediate term containing little brush-based fun. There is no urgency to remediation. At some point, to be determined by current post-holder 'head of finance and wife'; SWMBO, I will explore the prevailing market conditions for a, fingers-crossed, upgrade. High Sierra to Mojave, so to speak.
I won't go bananas as there's years left in the broom handle. Likewise I won't immediately dispose of this head. I kept another one from years ago, after an ill-fated experiment with synthetic bristles, repurposed as a boot cleaner.
Moreover, the 'take away' here is my broom technique. Clearly I am nearside heavy (leg-side in cricket parlance). Akin to hooking in golf. I will need to analyse my technique to optimise device life-span and utility. I suspect its ship alignment and excessive cross body thrust. Back to the age old Isosceles vs Weaver debate. If you have any videos of your own broom technique, message me. Every day's a school day.
Anyway - and as you can tell, I am very busy today so can't really get in to the detail of this right now.Other girls may try to take me away

@CPFC1905 - Great bit of prose right there. Best of luck with the follow-on endeavors regarding broom heads and repurposing.
