Looks like you have plenty of tongue weight! @kl8ton
Is that a good thing?  Better brisket mastication?

I thought that, as in too much? Nose up isn't great for the steering, do yku need to beef up the rear on that truck?

Numbers all work.  I will take it to the scales before heading out.  The truck has a 6,000 lb payload capacity.  It has a 21,000 lb fifth wheel towing capacity.

Fifth wheel weighs 16,500 loaded and pin weight should be about 3500.

I may have to adjust the pin box on the fifth wheel to get the nose down a little.  I want to get air bags for the truck so it sits level when towing too.

I was thinking heavier duty suspension, but self levelling makes more sense.  Also, bear in mind that the maximum payload will have a distribution as to where the centre of gravity of the load falls.  Does the pin sit directly over the centre of the bed (front to rear)?

Your  tongue weight is probably fine it just looks like a bunch considering that is a absolute beast of a truck!    Definitely would rather have too much than not enough.

Just bought mud flaps for my new car. And a set of jumper cables, a breaker bar and lug socket  and a tire gauge for it. Waiting on a small first aid kit from Amazon.

All my cars get the basic essentials

Can you mount it further forward to distribute the load between the axles and maybe save on the need for air bags?
