Man, I am envious. I'm a single guy who lives close to the city. I don't think I will ever get the chance to experience that let alone get good at it. End to end creation of awesomeness. I've done chickens live to table, but that just whole different world.

I find these slaughter/butcher threads fascinating. But I am also a city dweller, so baring a major life change, it is unlikely I will experience raising and slaughtering my own food.
