Man, I am envious.  I'm a single guy who lives close to the city.  I don't think I will ever get the chance to experience that let alone get good at it.  End to end creation of awesomeness.  I've done chickens live to table, but that just whole different world.

I find these slaughter/butcher threads fascinating.  But I am also a city dweller, so baring a major life change, it is unlikely I will experience raising and slaughtering my own food. (Unless @SGH does a slaughter/butcher camp =)=)=)=). )

Those hanging hogs are sweet.  Made me remember when I got in trouble in grade school when I took an eyeball for “show n’ tell”.  The Nun’s (Catholic school) were shocked by it and called my mom.  I was so proud of that pigs eye!
I carried a catfish air bladder one day .

That’s tomorrow’s project. Been busy all day cutting and grinding.
Just put a headstone on it and call it a day.

I would. But I use that same area and hole every time. As such, it’s got to come up sooner or later. Might as well get it over with as soon as it’s not muddy.
