    Bump! and bad news/good news.

Kay and I have decided that we will be at the Wing Ding 3 BUTT we are not going to participate in the contest because we can't cook our award winning wings that we did last year due to some new rule that we just don't understand. We also feel that someone else should have a chance at winning this year.

See youins next weekend, Jim, Kay and EllieJ the wonder dog.

So the winning wings last can’t be improved upon?

That is my understanding as well.  Jim’s all proud of himself having won the championship playing single-A ball, and is now about to face some pro-level high heat.

I’m pretty sure the official host of this event, @Jeremiah himself, said the only rule is that they have to be cooked on a BGE.
    You’d be correct, John.
Then why did yo tell me at the Butt Blast that I couldn't bring back our Award Winning Wings to see if they could stand tall 2 years in a row?
    Two words Jim: bourbon slushies.
Bourbon slushies are the only reason I am attending.....Oh yeah and to pick up my Trophy.
Jim this is what you will see! butt the Trophy will have a 3rd on it.

This event will most likely have the Aiken Police busy for most of the afternoon Saturday!

Ok, we are bringing tenderloin, bleu cheese and sriracha spread, slushies, mMax, wings and stuff for the wings, accessories, Rockwood, chairs, and a case to bring the trophy home in.

You know, if Jim is going to go to all that effort.....(definitely out efforting me) then he can win. I plan to balance three things. (1) Cooking wings (not a lot of prep) (2) consuming an adult beverage or few and (3) talking $hit to other contestants, their wives and chillin. If I take the title again.....then it must be the shirt.

How many wings should I plan on cooking at this?  I want to have one for everyone competing, plus seconds and thirds for when people return for more of the winning recipe.

A mini max holds about 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 lbs of cut wings. You will only get one shot at the competition level....but feel free to reload a secound round for munchies. Now I am not making rules here....just sharring my previous Expierence.

    Ouch.

Drink my sorrows away with the slushies, and @Jeremiah 's moss beer.
