Blueberry BBQ Chicken Two Ways

I posted this recipe here a couple years ago but thought I'd share again as it's uniquely delicious and blueberries are great right now. I used the original blueberry bbq sauce recipe (link: https://www.saveur.com/blueberry-barbecue-chicken-recipe ) from Saveur on one bird. On the other, I took an idea from @northGAcock who mentioned a similar homemade sauce he's made that also has chipotles/adobo. Both were really great. As we tend to like spicy stuff, I'll tend to add the chipotles going forward. Great smoky, sweet heat. Thanks Robin.
Garden crusty ‘taters a la Nichole along with her skillet corn. Sunday supper was a winner. Cheers.

I literally put this recipe in my book two weeks ago. My wife made a comment about me making it again.

Nice!
for whatever reason, I’ve been wary of trying the fruity sauces (blackberry, blueberry, peach, etc. ) I really need to grow up and give ‘em a shot.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

I like it, going to do a side by side with blueberry (the one you linked) and huckleberry BBQ sauces and see what transpires.
