I've got roast I want to cook on the egg.  Normally, I cook it in the oven 300-325 until medium rare.  How should I do it on the egg with directly over platesetter with drip pan or cooked raised direct in a roasting pan.

I'd go Plate Setter with drip pan--roll up some foil and place under pan so pan is not sitting on setter....but that's just me--no wrong way

I prefer cooking these indirect with a raised drip pan and pulling at 120 for rare/medium rare.

Thats what I was thinking would be best.  I just want to be able to get some good gravy out of it.

It turned out great.  I went indirect at 325* in a roasting pan.  Pulled it off at 135 it, let it rest.  It was just easier to make gravy that way.  Some homemade garlic mashed potatoes and fresh brocolli.
