    Mother of PEARL. I asked for blueberry pie for Father’s Day. Wife deemed it enough of an occasion for the leaf lard. (Recap: wife agreed to meet strangers at the back of a bar, with our children in tow, to get said lard.)

    Most excellent!  Blueberry pie is at the top of the list of things I have missed this summer on my path from 20 to 17 stone.

    I am glad that SOMEBODY got a dose.
